Description

This is an intermediate two day course focusing on fine tuning the basics from our beginner carbine course.  We will also run full range sessions to increase the students shooting speed, marksmanship, and forge correct technique.  We will be using aspects of the USPSA training program to rapidly increase the shooter’s speed and accuracy.  Course will be lead by USPSA multi gun national champion as well as US Special Operations Veterans.  Drills will get more challenging and instructors will provide instant feedback to the students on correcting technique deficiencies.  Students will be shooting from 5 yards to 400 yards in this course.

Required Equipment

  • Carbine 5.56 or 7.62
  • Weapon cleaning kit compatible with weapon
  • Minimum of five working magazines
  • Minimum of four pouches to support magazines on person (kit or rig preferred)
  • Adjustable Weapon sling with flexibility for transitions and manipulating the weapon
  • Appropriate footwear
  • Notepad
  • Pens/Pencils
  • Ear Protection
  • Eye Protection
  • Water reservoir
  • Baseball Cap
  • Sunblock

Recommended Equipment

  • Camelback or a water hydrating device on person
  • Knee & elbow pads

  • Med kit (blowout kit)

Food & Water

Recommended 2 gallons of water per day, Students will not be released for lunch. Enough food to support lunch and a day of shooting should be carried in each day
