Description

Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) is an emergency procedure, performed in an effort to manually preserve intact brain function until further measures are taken to restore spontaneous blood circulation and breathing in a person in cardiac arrest. It is indicated in those who are unresponsive with no breathing/abnormal breathing/obstructed airway and no pulse.

The goal of this course is to integrate resuscitation science with real-world practice in order to improve the outcomes of good quality CPR. Upon completion of this course you will be able to Immediate recognize someone in  cardiac arrest and activation of the emergency response system while providing early CPR with an emphasis on quality chest compressions, rapid defibrillation, Effective advanced life support and Integrated post–cardiac arrest care.
